All You Can Eat Seafood Buffets Outer Banks NC

Blue Crabs Outer Banks NC Seafood

Fresh and plentiful. The Outer Banks is known for many things: top-notch beaches, award-winning lighthouses, rich maritime history, great fishing, and surfing opportunities, and a boundless supply of locally-sourced shrimp, crabs, oysters, and fish.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, there were more seafood buffets lining the beaches from Corolla to Hatteras Island - however, there are still a few that feed plenty of hungry vacationers during the peak season months.

Listed from north to south, below is a full list of all-you-can-eat seafood restaurants on the Outer Banks. Hope you and your whole group of family and friends are hungry!

Corolla Seafood Buffet

Smaller in size than its seafood buffet competition to the south but certainly not lacking in flavor. This unassuming eatery is located right next to a Food Lion in the Monterey Plaza shopping complex in Corolla. About 40 well-prepared and seasoned dishes available at the buffet and a tentative staff. Unlike others, Corolla Seafood Buffet does accept reservations - even on the day of your visit!

Highlights: snow crab legs, seafood chowder, smoked salmon, tuna poke, braised beef, muscles, clams, crab cakes

Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

811 Ocean Trail, Corolla, NC 27927

Jimmy's Seafood Buffet

The original and one and only. Jimmy’s has been serving hungry patrons from their location between the roads in Kitty Hawk for more than 20 years. The light blue exterior and parking lot full of cars are difficult to miss while traveling along the bypass.

One recommendation that we have is that if you are planning to dine at Jimmy’s consider arriving early (4:00 PM-ish) to avoid the crowds. Are you a lobster connoisseur? Consider paying a few extra dollars on top of the cost for the buffet to add unlimited whole lobsters to your meal. If you love seafood - and you must if you are reading this post - then consider Jimmy’s during your next Outer Banks vacation!

Highlights: snow crab legs, coconut shrimp, prime rib, crab-stuffed mushrooms, tropical drinks

Hours: Open every day from April 1 - October 1, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

4117 N Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949
(252) 261-4973

Captain George’s

Opened in 2009, this regional restaurant chain offers a sizable seafood buffet and à la carte American eats. Unlike many other local restaurants, Captain George’s is open every single day year-round with the exception of Christmas Day.

If you’d rather feast on a wide array of items from the buffet at home, there George’s offers a to-go option. Open for lunch and dinner on Sundays and dinner only the rest of the week.

Highlights: snow crab legs, steamed crawfish, blackened Mahi, stuffed clams, sirloin steak

Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Sunday 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

705 S Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948
